Pay-and-display on Copeland Road after 6.30pm. The car park at 158 Copeland Road runs a £6 flat evening rate.

A Santander Cycles docking station sits directly outside. Indoor bike valet runs Friday through Sunday.

Step-free entry and a level floor through all four rooms. Elevator access to the mezzanine bar and washrooms.

Know before you go.
Chromatic Drift and Afterglow are calm, no-strobe rooms built for lingering. Resonance is bright and occasionally reflective but never strobes. The Hum uses strobe, haze and sustained bass — it's the only room in Pulse that does, and it comes with its own advisory and a no-strobe viewing gallery. Full sensory notes live on each room's page.
What to bring
A short packing list.
- Comfortable flat shoes — The Hum's floor is sprung and moves underfoot.
- Light layers; the venue runs cool to protect the equipment.
- Skip loose scarves or dangling jewellery near Resonance's kinetic mirrors.
- Photo ID or your confirmation email for will-call.

Is there an age recommendation?+
Pulse is built for all ages, though The Hum's volume and strobe make it better suited to guests eight and up. Under-12s must be with an adult throughout.
Can I take photos?+
Yes, phone photography is welcome in every room except during timed entry into The Hum, where staff ask guests to keep phones away for safety on the moving floor.
Is there a coat check?+
Yes, free coat and bag check at the entrance. Bags larger than a small backpack must be checked.

Is the venue heated and cooled?+
Yes, The Cistern runs full HVAC year-round; the space stays a steady, equipment-friendly temperature regardless of the room's effects.
