Ten friends, a whole department, a Year 9 cohort or four hundred people on a Thursday night — Pulse is built to take groups without turning into a queue. Discounted rates from ten guests, curriculum-linked schools sessions, and the run of all four rooms if you want the building to yourselves.
Book ten or more people onto a single entry time and the rate drops to £29 per person — below General Admission, and it holds on Fridays and Saturdays too. Your party walks in as one group, gets its own steward for the hour and its own sensory briefing, so nobody is left working out where the rest of the office went.
A single slot takes up to 60 people; larger parties are split across consecutive entries 30 minutes apart, which keeps everyone in the building together and staggers the rooms. Essential Companion tickets stay free and never count towards the ten-person minimum. Book at least one week ahead, and pay by card or on invoice.
Take all four rooms, the mezzanine bar and the cloakroom out of public sale for an evening. Wednesday and Thursday buyouts run from 5pm; Sundays we can open the building from 8:30pm once the last public entry has cleared. A three-hour buyout starts at £6,500 plus VAT and includes the full show, front-of-house and technical crew, stewarding, cloakroom staffing and a dedicated event manager from first call to load-out.
Capacity runs to roughly 180 guests an hour through the rooms and around 400 across a full evening, with the mezzanine open throughout. Add a bar tab or per-head drinks package, catering from our Peckham partners, or a DJ set in Afterglow once the last group has come through — it is the one room built for staying in.
Away days, client entertaining, launch nights, wrap parties and end-of-quarter socials. Per-head packages start at £54 plus VAT for parties of 20 to 60 and cover a private entry slot, a welcome drink, the mezzanine reserved for 90 minutes and cloakroom for the whole party. Above 60 guests we quote it properly rather than pretending a package fits.
Where the crew schedule allows we add a 25-minute technical walk-through — the rigging, the DMX patch, the kinetic armature and how a show like this survives being trucked between nine cities. Invoicing is on 30-day terms for registered companies, and we can work to a purchase order.
School and college sessions run on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, 10:00am to 12:30pm, before the building opens to the public — the rooms are quieter, the crew are on hand, and your group has the place to itself. £12 per pupil for the visit, £16 per pupil with the workshop, minimum charge for 15 pupils, VAT included.
Key Stage 3 to 5, including GCSE Art & Design and A-level Fine Art. Colour as material rather than decoration: how Chromatic Drift builds a single 30-metre gradient from 220 fixtures, why it never repeats, and what happens to composition when the work has no frame and no fixed viewing point. Pupils leave with a sketchbook task and a written brief.
Key Stage 3 to 5, mapped to GCSE and A-level Physics. Wavelength, frequency and amplitude made physical: Resonance’s beamforming microphone array on a live spectrum analyser, the decibel scale measured room by room, resonance and standing waves demonstrated on the rig, and The Hum’s 28–60Hz band felt through a sprung floor.
Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC in Production Arts, Music Technology and Creative Media Production. DMX addressing and patching, Art-Net over fibre, rigging and working-at-height safety, cue programming, and an honest Q&A with the crew about routes into touring production that do not begin with a degree.
Signal & Field runs for 45 minutes after the hour-long visit, delivered in the mezzanine studio by a Halo Field technician rather than a guide reading from a card. Choose one of the three routes above when you book; mixed groups can split into two.

Sent as one bundle within a working day of enquiry: our generic risk assessment, a venue-specific assessment covering strobe, haze, low light and floor vibration, £10m public liability and £10m employers’ liability certificates, the fire risk assessment and evacuation plan, and a written confirmation of staff DBS status for your trip paperwork.
One accompanying adult goes free for every eight pupils; extra adults are £16 each. All front-of-house and workshop staff hold enhanced DBS certificates, and our safeguarding lead is on site for every school session. Teachers remain responsible for supervision throughout, as your own policy will require.
Coaches set down and pick up at the goods gate on Copeland Road, directly outside the entrance, with a ten-minute wait limit. The nearest coach parking is a four-minute walk away — we send the driver’s note, a postcode and the box office number with your confirmation.

Group and schools rates include VAT at 20%. Private hire and corporate packages are quoted plus VAT. One booking fee of £4.50 applies per card order; invoiced bookings carry no fee.
