The challenge

Where things stood.

Solstice had grown from a single Shopify store into eleven data sources — three ad platforms, a 3PL, a POS system for pop-up retail, and a support desk — with no single place to ask "what actually drove last week’s revenue." The growth team was attributing conversions on last-click, which systematically over-credited retargeting and under-credited the upper-funnel content that was doing the real work of building the brand. Reporting for the Monday leadership review took a full day of manual spreadsheet reconciliation, and it was frequently wrong by the time anyone read it.

The approach

What Aurora shipped.

Aurora’s implementation team connected Shopify, the ad platforms, the 3PL, and the POS system through native connectors in the first two weeks, landing everything in one warehouse-native schema. The growth team rebuilt attribution on a data-driven multi-touch model with category-specific lookback windows, replacing the last-click model within a month. Merchandising got a live inventory dashboard that syncs every five minutes, and the whole company moved its Monday review onto a single Aurora dashboard that pulls from the same tables the finance team reconciles against.

We stopped arguing about whose spreadsheet was right and started arguing about strategy instead. That is a much better argument to have.

The result

What changed.

Within two quarters, Solstice reallocated eighteen percent of paid spend away from over-credited retargeting toward the content and influencer channels the new attribution model showed were actually driving first-time purchases. Checkout conversion rose eighteen percent as merchandising used live inventory data to stop promoting products that were about to stock out. The Monday leadership review now takes fifteen minutes instead of a day, because nobody is reconciling spreadsheets anymore — they are just reading the dashboard.
