Terms & Conditions

The terms on which we make this website and the goods sold through it available to you.

This is a portfolio demonstration site. The policies below are written to real UK conventions and are structurally complete, but they describe a fictional company and are not legal advice.

1. These terms

formegoods.co.uk is operated by Forme Objects Co. Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 10233947, registered office Unit 12, Bevenden Works, 14 Bevenden Street, London N1 6BH. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

We may revise these terms at any time by amending this page. Check it whenever you use the site — the version in force is the one published here on the day you use it.

2. Using the site

You may use formegoods.co.uk for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not use it in any way that breaches any applicable law, is fraudulent, or seeks to harm the site or anyone using it. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it is stored on, or any connected database, and you may not introduce any malicious code.

You may not systematically extract, scrape, republish or resell any part of the site, or use it to build a dataset or train a model, without our prior written permission.

3. Intellectual property

All content on formegoods.co.uk — text, photography, drawings, video, layout, code and the Forme name and marks — is owned by Forme Objects Co. Ltd or licensed to us. You may print or download extracts for your own personal, non-commercial reference, provided you do not modify them and you keep any copyright notices intact. All other rights are reserved.

4. Orders and contract formation

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot fulfil an order — because an item is out of stock, mispriced, or we cannot take payment — we will tell you and refund anything already paid.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate. Delivery charges are shown before you confirm your order. We take reasonable care to price correctly, but if an obvious pricing error occurs we are not obliged to supply at the wrong price.

5. Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Tell us at hello@formegoods.co.uk, then return the goods within a further 14 days. We refund the price and standard outbound delivery within 14 days of receiving them back. Return postage is yours unless the item was faulty or wrongly described.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

6. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we exclude all implied conditions and warranties to the fullest extent permitted, and we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of anticipated savings arising from your use of the site. If you are a consumer, we are liable for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach, but not for anything else.

We do not guarantee that formegoods.co.uk will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for business or operational reasons, and we will give reasonable notice where we can.

7. Links to other sites

Where this site links to a third-party site, that link is provided for information only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss arising from your use of them.

8. Governing law

These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
