Shipping & returns
Everything leaves our own warehouse in east London, packed by hand in moulded pulp and paper tape. Nothing we send contains plastic film.
Rates and timings.
Orders placed before 1pm on a working day are picked the same afternoon. Anything after that, or at a weekend, goes out the next working morning.
Lighting and larger vessels ship on a two-person service where the courier network requires it; we will tell you at checkout if that applies and it does not change the price.
Thirty days, no explanation required.
If a piece is not right, send it back within 30 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging, and we will refund it in full to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within three working days of the parcel reaching us and usually appear within another five.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a statutory right to cancel a distance-selling order within 14 days of receiving it. Our 30-day window is offered in addition to that right, not instead of it.
Return postage is paid by you unless the piece arrived damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered — in which case we send a prepaid label and cover the whole thing.

What the box is made of.
Moulded pulp, not foam
Every fragile piece sits in a moulded recycled-paper tray cut for its exact profile. It goes in the recycling with the cardboard, and it protects better than loose fill.
Paper tape and no film
Gummed paper tape, uncoated card, soy-based ink. There is no plastic film, no bubble wrap and no polystyrene anywhere in the chain, including on the way in from our makers.
Carbon-neutral collection
Our courier collects on an electric round within the M25 and offsets the trunk legs. The figure is audited annually and published in the About page.
